We are a Private Nursery situated in the Imperial Hotel offering childcare to:

• Children of Torbay
• Children staying in the hotel
• Children of staff at the hotel

We are a small nursery holding 29 places.

Hand2Hand is registered and inspected by OFSTED and is a member of the Torbay Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership.

Hand2Hand nursery is run by a very professional qualified team of childcare people, they are all qualified, holding one of the following:

• NNEB
• BTEC
• NVQ3
• NVQ2
in Early Years Care and Education

The daily running of the nursery is overseen by the Nursery Manager. Each room has its own Room Manager and their own team of Nursery Assistants.

Staff regularly attend training courses and workshops arranged by Torbay Early Years, Pre-School Learning Alliance and Playlines.

These include:

• Special needs
• Child protection
• Health and safety
• Behaviour management
• Specific curriculum areas
• Management and administration

All our staff hold a First Aid Certificate.
